These shell necklaces were featured in the June issue of Vogue Nippon. They are such a fresh summer accessory you can DIY. Use your own beach finds or next trip look for shells shops which offer pre-drilled options. Add a small gold jewelry ring and gold chain. Another option: try layering three chains and knotting them 6-8 inches apart.
(Drilling: support the shell by taping it down with masking tape and putting molding clay underneath it. Mark the placement of the hole with a pencil and use a 1/8th in drill bit adding as little pressure as possible. Keep the drill on the lowest speed. )
